Help Collect School Supplies for Students in Need!

Project Backpack is a community-based initiative led by Elgin Community College to benefit students in need, by offering appropriate resources to start a successful school year. Over 17,000 students have been helped since 2010!

This year's event will take place on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. (or until supply lasts) at Elgin Community College's Event Center, Building J.

Supplies will be distributed to students who provide proof of fall 2018 registration with Elgin Community College or school districts U-46, D300, D301, D303, or D20: school registration, report card, or other proof of enrollment. If you cannot provide proof of enrollment, you must bring proof of residency for one of the districts listed above.
